It clearly is a typical well maintained French airfield. Very quiet as well.

Only one local 'staff member' was trimming the grass of the ULM strip.
Nicely parked on an empty ramp. Clouds in the back coming from the Chooz nuclear power plant, 'strategically' built in the Pointe de Givet.
In the AIP it is marked as P38 till FL055, so stay away.
Signs made by the aliens.
The Ardennes! As great in a plane as on the motorbike.
Flying far away from P38.
Lessive if I remember well. At least someone is talking to the aliens.
Leaving the power plant behind. The plumes are a nice navaid.
Hometown of a good friend!
The antenna of Daussoulx ;-)
