Preflight inspection in progress...checking the tyres, wheels and brakes.
A common business jet, the Cessna CitationJet CJ2. Also known as the "Model 525A". It's longer than a CJ1. This jet looks very nice in flight, especially it's tapered wings.
Cleaning the windows. I don't like to start a long flight with dirty windscreen.
Setting up the instruments as a backup.
Inbound to ALBER, before joining the circuit for landing. You can see Antwerpen city, the river, the port as well the powerplant of Doel at the far right.
View on RWY 29 in final during a practiced forced landing. Correcting after overshooting the centreline from left base.
Celebrating another "on time and on track" arrival over my turning point: the Waregem racetrack. One orbit to the right, allowing my passenger to take this shot.
Obvious landmark. Lion of Waterloo.
Textbook approach to RWY 29, straight in to the ILS during sunset. Great feeling!
Two whites, two reds. Lovely.
Taxiing back after landing. Getting quite dark early. At the left you can see the magnificent Falcon 7X of Flying Group peeping it's nose.
